GCA/Briffa Copyright And Licensing Seminar

The GCA is holding its first Copyright and Licensing Seminar in June. This practical seminar, run by top legal firm Briffa, the GCA’s intellectual property advisor, will cover the burning issues around exploiting, protecting and enforcing intellectual property rights.
 
The seminar is being held at the Business Design Centre (home of PG Live) in London on the afternoon of 17 June and the two hour session will cost just £20 for GCA members (£75 for non members). It will identify what rights publishers have in images, texts, designs and ideas, give practical insights into enforcing rights and pursuing infringements and as well as providing a focused discussion of the ins and outs of licensing.

There will also be plenty of time for questions, when Briffa’s legal team will also be joined for a Q&A panel discussion by GCA members, David Hicks of Really Good and Richard Ford of Hype Associates, both experienced in copyright and licensing issues.
