Just six hours after this event was announced by GCA CEO Sharon Little this morning, Speed-dating with Dragons was sold out!
In this exciting new event, publishers will have one to one sessions to pitch their cards to retail buyers from a multiple, a small chain and an independent retailer, three buyers in total each.
In the Dragons’ Den will be…
Top buyers from multiples Clintons, Cardzone and Scribbler and small chains House of Cards and Frosts Garden Centres. Our indie Dragons will include buyers from: Belly Button Designs, Calliope, Forget Me Not (Stubbington), Little Paperie, The Riverside Bookshop and Unit 7 (Manchester).
Each publisher will have three ‘speed dates’ lasting ten minutes.
Each retailer will see 12 publishers.
And not only that! There will also be Sales and Strategy Workshops with GCA president Ged Mace of The Art File and Meet the Agent Q&A group sessions with London agents, the two Jos – Jo Bannister and Joanna McFarlane.
This event will take place at the Business Design Centre, London, on the afternoon of 28 February 2017.
