GCA Press Coverage and YouTube Channel

The GCA has had some notable PR successes recently, including appearances by Sharon Little, the GCA’s CEO, on BBC Breakfast and Channel 4 News on the subject of Clinton’s and postal price increases. These can now be viewed on the GCA’s very own YouTube channel, GCA Clips.

Most of the recent television interviews are there, including BBC Breakfast, Channel 4 News and a fun stint on the phone on the Wright Stuff. Sharon is also keen to link to members videos, "So if member’s have any footage of initiative’s they have done do let me know” said Sharon.

Member’s clips already on the channel include Lynn Tait’s recent Diamond Jubilee Cards for the Queen prize giving ceremony and Fay Martin, of Fay’s Studio, who has just won Harrods’ Diamond Jubilee window display competition, at the unveiling of the new window.

Press Coverage

We have also received lots of coverage in the press recently.

If you have a subscription to the online Financial Times, there is a great article there (just google ‘financial times greeting cards’).

There has also been a very positive piece in the online BBC News Magazine, published last week, with 144 comments from the public.

This also has a short but, we think, very lovely pro-greeting card piece by Stephen Bayley, the design critic and cultural commentator – who reckons ‘cards are not so much enjoying a survival as ready for a big uptick of a revival.’

Sharon has suggested that GCA members send him a card to say thank you.
