Book now for the GCA Agents’ Seminar 2014
2pm, Wednesday 30 April 2014 The Hubs, Sheffield Hallam University
Gaining and keeping good agents is one of the main challenges of running a card publishing business and one of the main topics for which members ask for help and advice. The GCA Agents' Seminar is one of our most popular events. Each year we have a different group of speakers tackling the subject from all the different viewpoints.
This year our great group of experienced speakers comprises:
Ged Mace of MD of The Art File and Emma Ball of Emma Ball, who will talk through their experiences with agents – both good and bad.
West Midlands Agent, Ian Bradley, will take us through trials and tribulations of being an agent and how publishers can work best with agents and, last but by no means least, the GCA’s legal beagle Richard Bailey who will explain agents' contracts and the latest developments on the legal side.
We'll round off this packed three hour session with a Q&A discussion, where our our panel of speakers will aim to answer all your burning questions.
Due to popular request we will be holding our 2014 Agent's Seminar in up North, in Sheffield. We have an exciting venue – Pod C in The Hubs, Sheffield Hallam's Student Union building, which is two minutes walk from Sheffield railway station. For those who wish to drive, there is also reasonably priced parking behind the venue.
GCA members have been emailed boooking forms for this event. If you are not a GCA member and would like to attend, contact Sharon Little on 020 7619 0396 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
